Use Debt Management to Avoid Debt
Are you suffering from the terrible debt cancer? It creeps up on you and before you realize it, you are in a debt crisis. It is important to manage your spending to eliminate debt. It doesn’t help with all those pushy door to door salespeople offering the latest best deal on something to improve your home. Or the pushy people that always ring at the most inconvenient time. They all test your will to keep avoiding debt.
It drives me crazy that in the sanctuary of my own home all these people are still trying to take my money off me. I have been sucked in so often and ended up with too much personal debt, buying things I don’t really need right now. These days I hang put the phone down and close the door on people who use the ploy – ‘Is Mrs so and so there? And, when you say no, they take the opportunity to introduce themselves to you.
Get tough. It is time to take our privacy back. We can get in to debt already using the internet – but at least that is not intrusive. You choose when and how to get access. Truly manage what you spend. These marketing tactics are fear tactics – fear that you will miss out on a good opportunity. You may but in the long term, you are not missing out on anything except more debt.

Are you Fighting your way out of a Debt Crisis?
Take your head out of the sand and watch what you are doing. Avoiding debt is your best solution. If it is too late, and you are already there, stop spending and spend every spare cent on a debt payment that reduces your debt just a little bit more.
Always pay off the debts with the highest interest rates. Stop using your debit and credit cards. Start using cash. The process of handing cash over makes it more valuable and more difficult to spend.
Maybe you can refinance your mortgage or consolidate your credit card debt with your mortgage into one debt payment. But, ultimately, it really is time to take control of your financial life. Don’t you get tired of the same old debt merry-go-round? Instead of trying to find ways to borrow more money, eliminate the debt you already have.
